Denisvitry, I feel your pain. I believe you can change the polarity of the knock sensors just to see
if the engine knock gets any better. I don't think it will harm the engine unless you drive your car for extended periods of time. The wiring change process is not difficult. The most difficult part of it is to pull the wires out of the socket. When you look at the socket from the pin side, you will see little holes around the pins. you need to insert something into those holes in order to be able to pull out the wire.

The target socket for wiring change is C116. This socket is in the engine compartment passenger side. see the following pictures.
